After some school hours in the morning we spent the afternoon with our friend
and went to the Crop Over Festival. He picked us up with his motor boat and we
went to Bridgetown. Crop Over is the whole weekend, it's a big festival that
lasts from Friday to Monday day and night. They celebrate the end of the crop,
and Friday and Monday are holidays.
We docked the boat in Bridgetown and walked through the street with all the
concession stands.... Food, Drinks, Music ( looouuud music - and I mean really
loud .... amazingly loud!!) . We ate Bajan food, chicken with rice, coucou ( a
kind of potato that grows on trees) and beans. We actually liked it - and even
Niklas ate some!
