Bequia - St. Lucia
We left with sunrise this morning. After yesterday's small birthday party
for Mathias all the guys slep on the trampoline and with the first daylight they
started the engines.
The destination is St. Lucia, bypassing St. Vincent.
Stoffel clearly enjoys the sun - no wonder - after all that rain!

In the afternoon we see St. Lucia. The Pitons in the South of the island welcome
us>
The Pitons are the two sister mountains, 771 and 743 Meter high. Gros Piton and Petit Piton
are their names and it was really impressive to sail right underneath them.
First we stopped at Marigot Bay, to check if we wanted to stay there. It is a
very small and protected bay, but other than a resort and a few stores there is
not much there. So we continued the 8 miles further North to check out Rodney
Bay.
We like this much better and anchored in the bay for the night.
We will see if the marina has a slip for us in the morning.
Soon there will be hundreds of boats as this is the finish line for the ARC,
Atlantic Rally for Cruisers. In about 2 weeks the cruiser will arrive here and
lots of events are planned.
