7. December
Yesterday we went out with the dingy. I was quite lazy on the beach while the
boys were pulling each other on the wake board. In the evening we went to the
ARC party, a band was playing and we had local food, chicken with rice, pasta
and salad. We enjoyed an ice cream for desert before falling into our beds.
Today is Sunday and we had a cleaning morning - not a cleaning day, because we
didn't want to spend all Sunday just cleaning, so we agreed on a "cleaning
morning".
Just when we were about to finish we saw a welcoming distraction... the winning
boat of the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers came into the marina. A swan 82 with a
crew of 9 won the race after 14 days on the Atlantic.
Lots of people gathered on the docks, a bongo band was playing and the huge
motor yacht on the same dock was blowing its horn to greet with winners. The
photographers moved the spectators to the side, everybody wanted to greet them
first.

(and if you pause at the 31. second you might be able to see me, little blurry,
in an orange colored shirt and black shorts, fifth from the left.)
The rest of the afternoon we didn't do much as I wasn't feeling well, the
urinary tract infection moved up the the kidneys and I was quite tired and I
will go the the doctor tomorrow.
