                                                         IKE

Hurricane Ike, which move northwards towards the Bahamas and Florida drags some bad weather behind. And that's exactly what we are dealing with right now. 35 knots of wind and lots of rain !
Our anchor alarm went off because due to the changing wind directions our boat moves around quite a bit. But all is well, the anchor is holding just fine.
Unfortunately it rains just once today ... all day long!
Well, we made the best of it. Cammi and Cole came over for a movie afternoon. I baked some brezels ( well, they tasted well, just the color and the shape might need some improvement), and we played cards.
The boys went swimming, they don't care if the water comes from top or bottom.

The rain has one advantage for us : we can collect water>
As we don't have a water maker on board, we collect water in buckets and also in the Walker Bay, which we then filter through a towel and fill up our water tanks.  What a nice system!
